Our Story

Johnny was a hero to everyone he touched.

Diagnosed with brain cancer at just 10 months old, he faced permanent disabilities and survived six additional cancers and countless surgeries with an unbroken spirit. Even in his hardest moments, his favorite sayings were "I'm so happy" and "Woo Hoo!"

Johnny believed that happiness is an adventure meant for everyone. To honor his legacy of courage and his deep love for the outdoors, we created the Sunshine Through Johnny Foundation.

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities by providing:

Camp Scholarships: Financial assistance so everyone can experience the joy of camp and social connection.
Adaptive Equipment: Purchasing and distributing specialized strollers and bicycles to help individuals navigate the outdoors.
